Learn More About butlins.com
The first resort of Butlins was opened in the year 1936. Ever since the beginning, the founder of the resort had a clear objective i.e. to bring happiness and color in the lives of hardworking families. As per him, the idea of any perfect vacation or a holiday has to be straight forward and simply down to earth as the man himself. In these 80 years, a lot may have changed in the terms of the growth, development and the number of resorts, but the idea behind remains the same. This perhaps is the biggest and the key reason behind the phenomenal success of the resort.
In the year, 1936 the first Butlins camp was opened for the public in Skegness to offer some seaside fun and frolic to the people residing in the nearby area. In no time, the resort went on to become one of the Britain’s best-loved holiday resorts. By 1990, there were splash water worlds in all the resorts of Butlins. The resorts were now equipped with spas, wave pools, lazy rivers and water slides where the guests of all swimming abilities can partake of a brisk circuit around the pool. Thereafter, the resort was more of a leisure spot for families to unwind. From then to now, several developments were made to ensure that the families who came here tired and exhausted only left being relaxed and rejuvenated.
The team of Butlins comprise of an enthusiastic, cheerful and helpful group of people. They work strenuously round the year to ensure that you get only the best when you are at the resort.
